merge folders

Hello,

When a file with a particular name is dragged to a folder already containing a file with the same name, a pop-up alert showing the sizes and date of last modification asks whether or not you want to replace the existing file.

Is there a way to merge files and have windows automatically accept the newer of the two files regardless of whether it's the existing file or the file being dragged in?

I've got numerous folders with many files of the same name and I would like to be able to automatically merge them all and just end up with the most recent modification of each file rather than having to do each one at a time.

Thanks,

Steve
